About Christ’s School
Christ’s is an oversubscribed, Church of England 11 -18 comprehensive school situated on an enviable site adjacent to Richmond Park in South West London.
Whilst teaching and learning is at the heart of everything we do we believe in the holistic development of the child. Our mission is to value and respect each individual and to realise the potential in every student.
Christ’s recently entered an exciting phase of development; we increased to 5 form of entry in September 2013 and we opened a brand new sixth form in 2014. To accommodate this, a new state of the art sixth form block was built to give our young people the very best opportunities and choices post 16.
Christ’s offers a wide range of opportunities for extra-curricular activities covering a variety of interests such as our annual ski trips, theatre outings, French/Spanish Exchange trips, the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme, singing in our school choir (who travelled to New York in January 2016 to take part in an international schools choir competition.) Our students have also travelled to Borneo and Kenya, where they assisted with conservation projects. We are also very proud of our school productions; the most recent of which was The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe.
Our Music and Drama facilities are excellent with many performance and productions and provide an enormous satisfaction and a sense of achievement for all who take part.
Our students also enjoy a wide variety of sports both on site and at other sporting venues in the Borough. Our well-equipped Sports Hall and fantastic outdoor facilities which include tennis courts, football and rugby pitches, cricket nets and a climbing wall are enjoyed by both our students and the wider community.
We are proud to be a Church of England school and welcome students from Christian and other religious backgrounds. Students and staff work harmoniously together in an environment which is safe, secure and permeated by Christian care and love.
