About the school

We are a busy but friendly school, with lots going on. At Churchend School our children are immersed in an exciting education that enables them to enjoy learning. We aim high and all children strive to make progress and do their best in all that they do. We have a strong set of six values that help prepare us for life and guide us throughout our  educational journey.

We completed our most recent OfSTED inspection in September 2008 and have published the findings on our website.  Our school was judged to be ‘Outstanding’ in all areas. We gained this same judgement 3 years previously, in 2005. It is an excellent and highly complimentary report that we are all immensely proud of.

At Churchend we are committed to ensuring that all our children will succeed at school and do well. Through a broad range of lessons and extra curricular activities we expect to support children in discovering their particular strengths and passions. Whether that be maths, science, music ,sport or a wealth of other activities they will be involved in, we intend to help children develop interests and skills that will remain with them throughout their lives.
