About the school

Lingfield College is a vibrant and successful independent day school for children aged 0-18 years, placed just outside Lingfield village in Surrey, close to the borders with Sussex and Kent. With approximately 900 pupils from Nursery to Sixth Form, it is the ideal size; small enough that all pupils are known and valued as individuals but large enough to offer fantastic facilities, a broad curriculum and extensive learning opportunities. In 2017 Lingfield College was rated as ‘EXCELLENT in all areas’ by the ISI.

The School’s holistic approach to education blends academic excellence, supportive pastoral care, and a rich programme of co-curricular opportunities to inspire, motivate and nurture every pupil. Set within beautiful 40-acre grounds, our excellent facilities and bright modern classrooms across both the Prep School and Senior School allow pupils to explore a wide range of academic, sporting, creative and extra-curricular activities. The School has enjoyed an ambitious programme of capital development, including adding new playgrounds at the Prep School and a comprehensive refurbishment of the Foundation Stage classrooms in 2022, along with adding a new baby room in 2023 and the enhancement of sporting facilities at the Senior School.
