About St Francis’ College
The College takes girls from age 3 to 18+, the youngest entering Kindergarten and progressing through Reception into the Prep Department, where there are currently 150 pupils aged 5-11. The Senior School (11 to 18+) has 310 pupils at present, including 40 boarders, most of whom are from overseas. The College is selective, in that it takes girls of average and higher ability.
The College is proud of its recent ISI and Ofsted reports and enjoys an excellent reputation in the locality and beyond. Outstanding academic results, including several Oxbridge places, have been achieved in recent years.
In keeping with its ethos, almost all girls participate in some form of extra-curricular activity, whether academic, musical, dramatic, sporting or community-based. The College’s results in inter-schools competitions, both sporting and academic, are commendable.
