St Piran’s School
About the school
St. Piran’s is an independent co-educational day school in Maidenhead.
Building on 200 years of tradition and the ethos of a family, Christian school, we provide an excellent school education for children from ‘rising 3’ to 11 years of age.
At St Piran’s we endeavour to teach all children to think, to understand and develop their learning styles, and to take responsibility for their learning.
Our curriculum includes not only the formal requirements of the National Curriculum, but a wide range of extra-curricular activities, all underpinned by Christian values. We aim to teach pupils how to grow into positive and responsible people while developing their knowledge and skills, so they can reach their true potential. We aim for children to be academically strong, socially capable and have an emotional intelligence by the time they leave at the end of Year 6.
The children at St Piran’s are happy, keen to succeed to the best of their abilities and eager to make the most of their time with us.
When they leave us to move on to their senior schools, pupils are happy, confident individuals whose future is based on the firm foundations that we have laid. They will have developed leadership skills and will have a clear understanding of responsibility in our changing world.
