The Federation of Holy Trinity and Little Marlow Church of England Schools

About the school

Marlow is a beautiful, thriving and popular riverside market town, with a pretty High Street and attractive Georgian and Victorian buildings, situated in the Chiltern Hills between Windsor and Henley-on-Thames.  The town boasts a rich community combining newcomers wanting a wonderful place to raise their children and families who have been in Marlow for generations. Transport links are great – both the M4 and M40 are within 10 minutes’ drive, and London Marylebone is just 30 minutes by train.

The Federation consists of two excellent schools:

Little Marlow CE School is an infant school set in an idyllic hamlet just outside of Marlow – the school was built in 1861. It is a small church school – currently 78 on roll – with three single-age classes covering Foundation to year 2 (age range 4-7). The school’s motto is “A family where we love, learn, grow and respect”. The school specialises in nurturing and celebrating individuality and aims to create an environment that is rich with learning and creativity. Each class has its own dedicated full time teacher and part time teaching assistant. They work together in a seamless partnership to provide a high quality learning experience for the pupils. The school is extremely proud to have achieved an Ofsted rating of Good in February 2015, having been placed in special measures in January 2013.

Holy Trinity CE (A) School is a church aided junior school firmly established in the heart of the town of Marlow. It has 319 pupils on roll across years 3 to 6 (age range 7-11),  with three classes per year group. At all times, the school seeks to provide a positive learning ethos in which pupils achieve high standards of attainment and are well prepared for the next phase of their education. The core aim at Holy Trinity is to create a stimulating environment where pupils feel motivated to achieve their full potential, learn to respect and care for each other and the wider community. It is somewhere they will come to understand and embrace Christian values. The school has been consistently rated as Outstanding by Ofsted and this is a reflection of the dedication of staff, engagement of parents and hard work of the children.

Visits to the schools are warmly welcomed.
