Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-qualified graduate to teach History throughout the School. The successful candidate will have a good degree in a relevant discipline and not only have excellent subject knowledge, but be innovative and creative in sharing their love of History inside and outside the classroom. Set on the site of a former Summer Palace of the Archbishops of Canterbury, with striking medieval buildings Mayfield is steeped in history and an appreciation of our historical context is an important part of the curriculum.

The position would suit an NQT, someone looking for their first move or an experienced teacher. Training, support and ongoing mentoring will be provided by an outstanding department with a proven track record of inspiring girls of all abilities to enjoy History.
