Description

Part time applications will be considered

We are looking to appoint an excellent teacher to join our Performing Arts area; someone who can inspire students across the age and ability range to achieve the best possible outcomes through receiving the highest quality teaching.

We run GCSE music and have extensive music facilities including three practice rooms and a dedicated music classroom. We believe that music adds a great deal to our curriculum and want to see this area develop.

The successful candidate will have the energy, drive and stamina to deliver music in an innovative way that will engage our students.  We have a strong track record of extra-curricular activities within the local community and beyond.   We are looking for someone to help reignite this important part of school life.

The person appointed will work closely with the Performing Arts department to help develop the cross curricular work that leads to our wonderful school productions. We are currently working towards performances as part of the schools 90th anniversary in the summer of 2022.  As well as musicals, students take part in local concerts and perform at local events.
