This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, well-qualified and inspirational teacher with a proven track record, to lead an important Sixth Form Department where girls consistently achieve outstanding results at A Level. You will also have the opportunity to work with girls throughout the school to ensure that they have an understanding and engagement with the world in which we live.
The Politics Department, although small, is important and influential through the School. The ideal candidate will be able to encourage informed and independent thought in every student, and be keen to make his or her own mark on the intellectual life of the School. You should be able to teach A Level and to support and challenge students of all abilities including preparing students for Oxbridge. You will be expected to contribute to the dynamic Life Skills and Sixth Form enrichment programme in an effective and engaging manner.
The ability to teach another subject to GCSE or A level is necessary for this to be a full time position or a higher percentage part time role.
