Level 2 Hair & Beauty (City and Guilds)
Between 10 -20 hours per week, term time only plus 2 x staff training days
We are currently seeking a Hairdressing Tutor. The role includes preparing teaching materials, delivering practical and theory lessons in Hairdressing and beauty Therapy in the classroom and assessing learners on a one to one and group basis under the national occupational standards. You will be responsible for planning and developing all aspects of the course. You will support and help all learners to achieve the level 1/level 2 Hair & Beauty qualification.
The ideal candidate will be qualified will have a minimum of 5 years experience in Hairdressing and be able to teach and assess students in Level 2 Technical Award in Hair and Beauty Studies (City and Guilds) and VTCT Level 2 Certificate in Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy. An A1 Assessor qualification is essential for this role.
There may be an opportunity for the use of the salon for private clients.
