Teach West London Teaching School Hub is seeking to appoint a Teaching School Hub Manager .
Teach West London is the Teaching School Hub for the four London boroughs of Ealing, Harrow, Hillingdon and Hounslow. The Teach West London Teaching School Hub is based at Twyford CofE High School which is the founding school of the Twyford CofE Academies Trust. Working in collaboration with the DfE and a network of expert local partners across the four boroughs, the Teaching School Hub is responsible for delivering the ‘golden thread’ of professional development spanning Initial Teacher Training (ITT), the Early Career Framework (ECF) and National Professional Qualifications (NPQs). The Teaching School Hub Manager will be responsible for the operational systems within the Hub and line-managing a small team of TSH Administrators. They will also support strategic planning and project management of the development of the Teaching School Hub by having oversight of all training programmes delivered by the TSH (Early Career Teacher programme, National Professional Qualifications (NPQs) and wider CPD programmes). The TSH Manager will need to be able to interpret financial data in order to ensure reporting and financial processing meets the required deadlines. The role will be varied and busy, so the ability to work professionally under pressure to meet deadlines and operate flexibly within the changing needs of the Hub is essential. Successful Candidates will have:
- Experience / knowledge of managing a team in a school setting would he highly desirable.
- Experience of financial management.
- An excellent standard of written English.
- Excellent ICT and organisational skills, including advanced MS Office skills.
- Experience of working with data and creating reports.
- Customer service experience.
- A professional attitude and excellent attendance.
- Excellent relationships at all levels.
- Training and development opportunities.
- Membership of the Local Government Pension Scheme.
Core hours are from 9.00am-4.30pm with a half an hour lunch break. An additional 1 hour is to be worked every day from 8.00-9.00am. These additional hours can be accrued and used as time in lieu during school holidays when the TSH office is quiet (or the school is closed).
