Description

We are seeking an imaginative and motivated Assistant Director of Sport (Engagement) to lead our work engaging the least active pupils with truly innovative programmes and approaches. The successful applicant will also help us use ‘sport’ to engage important CLC partners.

The role sits within a team of four Assistant Directors (AD) who support the Director of Sport and Physical Activity. The other ADs cover Performance, Participation and Curriculum (Head of PE) strands.

The successful applicant will be an outstanding teacher with a high degree of emotional intelligence and will make a significant contribution to the leadership and management of the department.

This is an exciting role with a broad remit which presents the post holder with an opportunity to make a significant difference to the holistic education of College pupils for many years to come.

As one of the world’s leading schools, and with a strong pioneering heritage, our aim is to embody excellence, independence and empowerment in the education of young women. You will join a friendly and supportive community of committed professionals who believe that pupils are at the heart of all we do. We are ambitious for their futures, collectively and individually, and have been so for 170 years.
