Description

Reed’s School is one of the leading Independent Secondary Day and Boarding Schools in the country, providing an education for over 790 pupils. The School is all-boys from 11-16 and has a co-educational Sixth Form. Ripley Court School is a popular independent co-educational preparatory school for 3-11 year olds set in 19 acres of beautiful Surrey countryside including extensive playing fields and a Forest School.

We are looking to appoint an Assistant Gardener to join our team responsible for the maintenance and general condition of our grounds (covering both School sites and including extensive sports facilities). The role-holder will assist the Head Gardener with general maintenance of gardens, planters and planting beds.

The role-holder will predominantly work from the Reed’s School site in Cobham but will be required to work from the Ripley Court site as required.

The role-holder will work for 40 hours per week with the ability to work flexible shift patterns (e.g. weekends on a rota). The School will provide sponsorship to study relevant horticultural qualifications, allowing the successful candidate to attend college where required, in order to complete formal training for the role.
