Description

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and motivated individual, with a track record of success in middle leadership, to join a dynamic and supportive Senior Leadership Team with a passion for raising standards and continuous improvement. Responsibilities linked to the post will be negotiated following appointment, to take account of the successful candidate’s strengths and experience, but they will include line management of a curriculum area(s), a year group(s) and some whole school leadership roles.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute towards our shared vision that all students can flourish and achieve their full academic and personal potential – becoming confident, respectful and resilient global citizens with the knowledge and skills to be successful in 21st Century.

As the lead school for the Möbius Maths Hub and regional centre for Teaching School Hub Berkshire, Willink can offer the successful candidate unrivalled professional development and senior leadership opportunities.

The Willink is a successful and oversubscribed school with a strong international ethos, listed in the top ten non-selective schools in Berkshire in 2019. The school has 1250 students on roll including 234 in the Sixth Form, and is situated in a pleasant semi-rural setting south west of Reading.

Closing date: 9am, Tuesday 23 April 2024 and applications will be reviewed on receipt.

We reserve the right to appoint before the closing date.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicants will be required to apply for an enhanced disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS). Further information can be found at www.homeoffice.gov.uk
