We have a fantastic opportunity for a Behaviour Senior Support Assistant to join our Pastoral Team at Oxted School. Working directly with a dedicated team within the Reflection and Behaviour Unit, alongside the support of passionate teams within Oxted School and The Howard Partnership Trust, you will assist in monitoring behaviour and putting in correct support for both the student and family. You will have a calm but resilient manner, approachable and warm, but able to maintain authority at all times. The successful candidates will be resolving behaviour issues for individuals and groups of students and monitor behaviour in the Reflection and Behaviour Unit as well as between lessons in corridors, break times and lunch times. You will also be supporting students to develop effective social skills, resolve conflict positively through mentoring and advice.
Our reflective and skilled staff and wonderful students make Oxted School a rewarding and invigorating place to work. The inclusive community values which are so important to us mean that you will be well supported by both your colleagues and the Senior Leadership Team. We pride ourselves on the high-quality professional development and career progression opportunities available to all our colleagues, and we work hard to ensure that staff wellbeing and workload are central to our approach. Our colleagues also thrive on their commitment to our wide range of extra-curricular activities, including being one of the largest Duke of Edinburgh centres in the country.
