An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Chemistry Technician at this successful 11-18 girls’ grammar school in Reading to join us at the beginning of Term 5 (April 2023). Graded ‘Outstanding’ in its recent OFSTED inspection, Kendrick School is a centre of academic excellence with a track record of high performance and achievement. 

We are looking for someone who has a good understanding and interest in Science, particularly Chemistry. You must have good numeracy, literacy and computer skills and need to well organised in your work. You will need to be flexible in your approach and enjoy working as part of a team. 

As a valued member of staff you would be responsible for providing technical and administrative support to the Chemistry department and supporting Science and partnership outreach work. Chemistry is extremely popular, and many students take the subject at A Level. You would be joining a very experienced and enthusiastic department and students are highly motivated, creative and engaged.
