Description

Oaks Primary Academy has an exceptional opportunity for a committed, enthusiastic and passionate Class Teacher to join their team from October 2023 or sooner if available. Joining Oaks Primary Academy will enable you to work with like-minded colleagues who share similar goals and ambitions and pupils who are hard-working, motivated and reflective. You will be part of a team that provides outstanding educational opportunities for all of our pupils through creative, carefully sequenced and highly effective lines of inquiry where all learners are at the very core of driving our curriculum.

If you would like to be part of a team that shares a strong belief that all students deserve a world-class education, then join us as we strive to offer our pupils the very best at their local community school. We want our students to leave our primary school as well-rounded, lifelong learners and global citizens that are ready for secondary school and beyond - and we know the importance of recruiting staff members who can bring this to fruition. Whether you are new to the teaching profession or experienced, you will contribute to leading and shaping the vision and future of our academy and wider Trust.

Our successful candidate will work as part of an outstanding, one-form entry team who strives for the very best education for all children. They will be open to covering additional lessons if and when required.

This role will also provide the opportunity to develop subject leadership and help shape whole-school teaching and learning. We pride ourselves in delivering a broad and balanced curriculum which interweaves the National Curriculum with the International Baccalaureate to create an aspirational learning environment.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in teaching Key Stage 2 so a strong foundation and knowledge of this key stage is highly desirable for this role. You will also need to be a strong team player who values collaboration across all members of the team.

This is a permanent position offering MPS commensurate with experience.

Join our team because:

We care - about our pupils through our human scale approach to education, our staff and their well-being and the communities that we serve, driven by our high ideals and strong moral values.

We have boundless ambition - to achieve excellence for all and create confident young adults with high levels of resilience and integrity.

We work together - as one team in the belief that we are greater than the sum of our parts. We foster an enterprising culture through collaboration and in close partnership with industry and other educators.

We keep getting better - using our ‘can-do’ attitude towards continuous improvement and innovation.
