An enthusiastic qualified teacher of mathematics is required to lead and teach mathematics to pupils on a one-to-one basis. Candidates will have experience of providing personalised support for mathematics for ages 11-16, including preparation to GCSE at the end of year 11.
A coaching commitment of up to 13 hours per week is anticipated, but flexibility is required, as pupil numbers vary according to need.
College values and respects all learners. Additional mathematics support is provided by the Learning Support Department for students with generalised mathematical learning difficulties. As a department, we aim to provide opportunities for girls with a range of specific learning difficulties and additional needs who would thrive within our educational community.
We welcome candidates with training and experience in dyscalculia. Each girl’s needs are unique and we offer a range of support and provision to enable each girl to learn in a way that suits her needs.
You can look forward to a genuinely rewarding role with full support with induction and ongoing CPD.
