Due to the continued growth and success of the academy, we are seeking to appoint a talented individual in the role of Coordinator of Learning - Science. Our newly appointed candidate will continue the development and implementation of the department, so experience teaching across each year group would be highly beneficial. Supporting the Director of Learning, you will help raise the quality of teaching and learning in the department across all key stages.
This is a truly fantastic opportunity for a passionate teacher to become part of a well-established, highly collaborative and successful team as we are confident that our teaching and support teams, our facilities and most importantly our students will inspire you. As an IB World School, applicants that have previous experience in delivering this curriculum are of strong interest to us but please note that this criterion is not essential as training will be provided.
This is a permanent opportunity with a salary of MPS/UPS + London Fringe Allowance, commensurate with experience with a TLR.

Being part of Leigh Academies Trust: As of 1st September 2022, our Trust comprises 30 geographically organised academies (14 secondaries, 14 primaries and 2 special) educating 20,000 students, and employing 3,000 talented staff. The Trust is establishing four ‘clusters’ of academies: North Kent; Central Kent; South East London; Medway. In addition, the Trust is responsible for one of the region’s biggest initial teaching training organisations, a large teaching school hub and is an accredited apprenticeship provider.
