Description

We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and passionate Deputy Head – Pastoral from September 2022. The position falls vacant following the retirement of the present Deputy Head who has worked at the School for the past 20 years.

Godstowe is a thriving, busy school enjoying a famous reputation in its field. Approximately a third of our pupils are boarders. The School prepares children for entry into the leading independent senior schools. About 20% of our girls are international pupils, from the European countries as well as Africa and the Far East.

The successful candidate will participate in all aspects of school leadership and will play a key role in further improving the pastoral provision, shaping future strategy and developing middle leadership throughout the School. This is a broad role and applicants will need to demonstrate a proven record of accomplishment in leadership in a comparable school. You will be a highly diplomatic individual and an exceptional communicator, capable of delivering results through outstanding leadership and teamwork.
