We are seeking to appoint an Electrician to join our dedicated maintenance team who work across all areas of the College. Normal working hours are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday working 8am to 5pm or 9.30am to 6.30pm on alternate weeks. This is a full time role, all year round. There is also an on call rota which attracts an on call allowance.
To excel in this role you should be a team player who offers great customer service, have excellent communication skills and take pride in your work. This role requires a large proportion of time lone working.
You will manage the electrical infrastructure at the College, ensure installation work is completed to current industry standards and ensure all plant and equipment is fully functional, appropriately maintained and certified alongside contributing to and taking responsibility for selected projects.
We are open to supporting continuing professional development in terms of achieving the City and Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing qualification.
