Required as soon as possible
Hours: 0.4 FTE
Maiden Erlegh School in Reading is a high-achieving, over-subscribed secondary school which is as committed to the welfare of students and staff as it is our high standards.
To use our catch up premium effectively we are looking to recruit an English tutor on a 0.4FTE contract until July 22nd 2022. The successful candidate will be working with some of our pupil premium students and other students who need to catch up as a result of falling behind during the pandemic. The groups will be smaller than normal class sizes and will be across all year groups.
Our students are a delight to work with and relationships between students and staff are extremely positive and constructive. Students are keen to learn, curious, respectful, polite and fun. They rise to challenges positively and enthusiastically, and have high expectations of themselves. This is why they achieve such impressive academic and personal successes.
If you would like to have an informal chat with our Head of Department or visit our school, please email email@example.com.
Closing date: 9am, Monday 6 December 2021.
Interviews: to follow shortly.
The Trust reserves the right to interview and appoint before the closing date.
