Here at Cheltenham Ladies’ College, you will be part of a large and friendly community of professionals who support our girls’ education and experience. Out of a total of approximately 650 staff, around 400 are in non-teaching roles, which means you’ll join a significant team that underpins the success of College.
In this key role you will provide a proactive secretarial and administrative support to underpin the work of the Head of Pastoral Care. A close working relationship is required to enable effective time management and efficient organisation of the demands on the Head of Pastoral Care. The position demands complete confidentiality on the part of the post holder who will be required to foster good relationships with parents, girls and staff.
To be considered for this role, you will have a strong administrative background and experience of working with and for senior staff at leadership/director level in a busy and demanding environment with ever-changing priorities. You will also be able to work proactively and under your own initiative.
You will be highly computer literate with excellent up-to-date knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, with knowledge of SharePoint. Previous experience of working in education in an administration role is desirable but not essential.
