Description

This role would be suitable for someone who is looking to consolidate their experience after initial teacher training or is looking for tangible teaching experience before making an application for teacher training or is looking for a permanent teaching position. It would also suit someone looking to return to teaching after a significant break.

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to support our values of Unity Respect and Excellence. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will be an inspirational role model to our students and work with them and teaching staff to establish a supportive and nurturing learning environment in which individuals can develop their confidence across a range of subjects.

The role is newly created to support individuals who have found ‘lockdown’ learning more challenging. As such, we intend to ensure that we have a support programme in place to enable them to reach their potential, this role is part of that programme. You will work with teaching staff to ensure that students know what they need to do to consolidate their learning. This, in turn will help them develop greater confidence across all aspects of their learning.
