We seek to appoint for September 2023, a well-qualified Head of Department to lead Business Studies and Economics. Business Studies is offered at KS4 and KS5 and Economics is offered at KS5. Both departments are popular and results are very strong. The ability to teach Economics is desirable.

  • A well-qualified teacher able to offer both Economics and Business Studies.
  • An outstanding classroom practitioner with a proven track record of excellent results and a compelling vision for improvement.
  • A colleague with experience of leadership of an area of the curriculum, for example as a 2i/c.
  • A collegiate approach and experience in supporting the development of colleagues.
  • A team player, able to lead and inspire others.
