Description

Holyport College is a truly unique school. Our students are wonderful, diverse and happy. Their behaviour is exemplary. If you love your subject, our students will love it too and you will love teaching them.

Inspected in May 2017 and for boarding provision in 2021, this is what Ofsted had to say about our ‘outstanding’ school:

“The school is a harmonious community where all groups coexist and cooperate together particularly well”

“Pupils are thoughtful, respectful and friendly”

“Behaviour is impeccable”

Holyport College seeks an ambitious teacher of Computer Science to lead the next stage in the development of the department. Computer Science is a very popular subject at GCSE and in our Sixth Form with a number of our students going on to study it and related subjects at Russell Group universities. Applicants should have the ability to deliver high quality lessons, achieve excellent results and lead other teachers to ensure that our students make outstanding progress. If you have a passion for Computer Science and want to share this with our students who have a thirst for knowledge and the drive to succeed, then we would want to hear from you. As a state-boarding school, you would be expected to take part in our co-curricular program.

This post will provide unparalleled professional development opportunities in the country’s first state day and boarding free school which is fortunate to have as its sole education sponsor Eton College.
