Wycombe Abbey is a full boarding school which provides an outstanding all-round education for girls aged 11 to 18.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Learning Enhancement specialist to lead this vital department. The successful applicant will be expected to shape the vision of the department so that it continues to adapt and develop in the changing educational environment. The successful applicant will have significant experience in a Learning Enhancement role and will hold a Level 5 OCR diploma (Level 7 desirable). A National Award SENCo qualification is desirable, as well as a knowledge of ADHD and ASD. There may be an opportunity to teach in a curriculum department if appropriate.
The Learning Enhancement Department is currently comprised of 9 highly-skilled and well-qualified teachers who specialise in a variety of areas. The department is situated in a dedicated facility with its own teaching rooms and work spaces.
