Are you passionate about igniting linguistic curiosity and nurturing multilingual talents? Leigh Academy Minster is seeking a dynamic and visionary Head of Learning - MFL to join them from September 2024.

As the Head of Learning for MFL, you will be at the forefront of fostering a culture of linguistic excellence within our academy. Your main responsibility will be to inspire and empower both students and staff to explore, innovate, and excel in the world of languages. You'll have the opportunity to shape the direction of our MFL curriculum, ensuring it is dynamic, inclusive, and reflective of contemporary linguistic practices.

Your role will involve not only leading and managing the MFL department but also collaborating with colleagues across the academy to integrate languages into interdisciplinary projects and initiatives. You will champion the importance of language education in developing critical thinking, communication skills, and cultural awareness.

We are looking for a visionary leader with a proven track record of delivering outstanding results in language education. You should have a deep understanding of pedagogy, a commitment to fostering a supportive learning environment, and a passion for nurturing the linguistic potential of every student. If you are ready to lead a team of dedicated educators, inspire young linguists, and shape the future of language education at Leigh Academy Minster, we encourage you to apply and join us in empowering the next generation of global communicators and cultural ambassadors.

This is a full-time, permanent position offering MPS/UPS, commensurate with experience plus TLR2B (£6,819). Interviews for this position will take place on Monday 13 May 2024.
