Description
Beaconsfield High School, an outstanding girls’ grammar school, has a rare opportunity for an energetic, highly motivated Head of Religious Studies with the vision and ambition to inspire and enthuse our students.
As a school we strongly invest in the Humanities subjects and our students all study Religious Studies until GCSE. Our Head of Religious Studies will take responsibility for the teaching of the subject across all Key Stages and will help us to broaden the experiences of our students within Humanities. We are open to ideas that inspire and help our students to enjoy the subject as much as possible and are looking for a candidate who can build on the rich and challenging curriculum that is already in place.
It may be that you want to come and see for yourself. If so, we are very happy to welcome you and show you what we do and for you to ask any questions. However, we recognise that this is a busy time of the year for you and your students and so understand if this is not possible. If invited to interview you will be given a tour of the school and an opportunity to ask questions then.
To arrange a visit, or for additional information, please contact Jo Barnes via recruitment@beaconsfieldhigh.bucks.sch.uk
Closing Date: 9am, Monday 17 April 2023
Interview Date: Thursday 20 April 2023
Beaconsfield High School is committed to safeguarding the welfare of all of its students and staff. The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the person specification in order to be offered the post and will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references. We welcome applications from all suitably qualified teachers regardless of age, gender, ethnicity or religion.
