We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our friendly and supportive school as Home School Link Worker. The successful candidate will have a strong belief in inclusion and the right for each child to be successful whatever their needs and abilities. They will have the ability and desire to help pupils overcome barriers to their teaching and learning, both within and outside school, in order for them to fulfil their potential.
Experience of forging strong partnerships with outside agencies and the ability to form positive working relationships with all stakeholders is key for this role. A sound knowledge of child protection and safeguarding procedures is required, as well as excellent communication and people skills. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a proactive approach to problem solving and have the ability to further develop their own professional development, as well as share best practice.
We are a large primary school, located on the borders of South West London, with 620 pupils from Reception to Year 6. The school is part the Hinchley Wood Learning Partnership, a growing Trust which includes Hinchley Wood School, an outstanding secondary school located on the same site.
The working pattern is expected to be 35 hours per week, 8.30 am – 4.00pm Monday to Friday during term time only, plus ad hoc support, timing of which can be agreed with the successful candidate. However, we will consider part time applications – please specify on your application form if this would interest you. For information the full time equivalent salary range is £26,495 - £30,403 per annum.
