We have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated HR Practitioner to join Hinchley Wood School in a fast paced role. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate an excellent working knowledge of delivering HR administration, operational support and guidance, and be keen to learn and develop further.
To succeed in this role you will be proactive with a ‘can do’ approach, have great organisational, time management and communication skills and be a team player. Generalist HR experience at a supervisory level together with a minimum of level 3 personnel qualification (CIPD or equivalent) is required. Previous experience of delivering HR within schools, and use of the SIMs Personnel database would be advantageous.
Hinchley Wood School is an inclusive and high achieving secondary school on the borders of SW London, celebrating student progress and development as well as academic achievement. We have a staff body of over 200 teaching and associate colleagues, and 1,400 students on roll including 290 in our 6th form.
We are looking for someone to start as soon as possible for 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, term time only plus 2 weeks. The actual starting salary will be £15,429 p.a. (FTE £25,412). Flexibility and the ability to manage ad hoc demands is key, and the final working pattern will be agreed with the successful postholder.
