We are seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced Human Resources (HR) Officer who will provide support to the Senior Leadership Team in providing an effective and efficient HR service to the school.

You will be CIPD qualified or working towards, with proven experience within an HR function. It is essential that the person is experienced in managing a full range of HR activities including policies and procedures, terms and conditions of employment, absence management, recruitment, staff well-being, maternity/paternity/adoption, performance management, employee relations, learning and development, restructuring, safeguarding (including overseeing the Single Central Register) and internal communications. Some knowledge of payroll and pensions administration would be beneficial.

To be successful in this role you will be organised, confident, and have an ability to be discreet and maintain confidentiality. You will need to be able to deal sensitively with employees, have acute attention to detail and be able to work showing initiative. You must have demonstrable experience in a busy administrative role and will already possess an understanding of HR processes.

The successful candidate will have a good level of education (to at least A Level standard) and proven experience of working in a busy environment.
