Description

37 hours per week, full time, all year

We are seeking to appoint a keen and talented individual to join our Network Support department as soon as possible on a full time, permanent basis. There are excellent progression opportunities and, for the right applicant, there is an opportunity to complete the Level 3 Infrastructure Technician apprenticeship.  A keen interest in ICT and an aptitude for problem solving are essential.  This is a full time all year post but term time only or part time hours would be considered for the right candidate.

The Weald is an outstanding, high achieving, popular and oversubscribed 11-18 comprehensive school, situated in the heart of the West Sussex countryside, 10 minutes from Horsham, 35 minutes from Guildford and Brighton, and an hour by train to London.  The school has an excellent record of academic and pastoral achievement and we pride ourselves in creating a caring and respectful ethos where every child is important. Ofsted judged the school “Outstanding in all areas”. Our three-year rolling average Progress 8 results places us in the top 20% of schools nationally for progress.

If you relish the opportunity of working in a supportive and stimulating professional environment, The Weald School would welcome your application. We also welcome visits to the school from interested candidates.

Closing date for applications: 5pm Thursday 18 August 2022

Interviews will be held: Wednesday 24 August 2022.

An application form and further details may be downloaded from the ‘Work at The Weald’ page (Support Staff Vacancies) on our website www.theweald.org.uk

We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to pre-employment checks including an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Only registered members can apply for jobs.
