Matthew Arnold School is an 11-18 school with 1300 students, an excellent local reputation and is part of the Acer Trust.

We have a vacancy for an IT technician to work in our busy school.  If you are developing a career in IT support, this is an ideal opportunity for you to gain experience in a forward thinking and fast moving support environment, where your input and ideas are valued and encouraged.  You will join a highly efficient team to deliver first rate end user IT support and maintain the school's desktop, printing and network services.

Working in a combined Microsoft and G Suite for Education environment, the successful candidate will have good basic knowledge of end user IT support with desktop troubleshooting support.

Your role will be managing helpdesk requests from students, staff and managers, to ensure a good IT service is accessible.  Key skills include good computing skills, communicating with colleagues at all levels and good organisational abilities. You should have at least a year’s experience in a similar role.

Weekly hours: 37 hours, year round (24 days annual leave plus bank holidays).
