About the role: We are seeking to recruit a Junior IT Technician to join their experienced and vibrant team. The successful candidate will support and maintain all IT hardware and services across the school site in which the appointed candidate will be based and assist with any IT issues on day to day basis.
This is a varied role and the Junior IT Technician will;
- Respond to second line and third line support requests.
- Respond to requests for ICT support in accordance with Help Desk procedures and priorities.
- Support maintains all the Academies Trust IT Hardware and services.
- Assist in the installation or repair of Windows computers with standardised applications and networking software, diagnosing and solving problems that develop in their operations.
- Assist in a wide range of technical duties associated with the computer network and desktop services, primarily in connection with existing installations and upgrading of these installations. (desktop computers, IWB's, printers, telephones, scanners, projectors, pa equipment, AV lecterns and hardware)
This is a full time position (37 hours p/w) offering a salary of £18,476 per annum, + 25 days annual leave + bank holidays, starting from October.
