We have an exciting opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant to join the team at Eastwick Schools. The postholder will support the class teacher with their responsibility for the development and education of children in schools, which may include pupils with special needs.
A good education to GCSE level in English, maths and science or equivalent, Grade C and above or equivalent, is required. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal and listening skills with a commitment to helping each student achieve their full potential.
At Eastwick we believe that children get just one childhood; it should be a magical and happy time where education should leave a host of positive and deep, meaningful memories that last for the rest of their lives. With this in mind children are at the heart of every decision we make. We aim for every child to be happy, confident risk takers who fulfil their potential. We provide a nurturing environment where we value each child and promote positive attitudes and lifelong learning to help children grow into independent, respectful and creative adults with their own unique gifts and talents. Eastwick School is a federation of Eastwick Infant School and Eastwick Junior School offering inspirational education to children from 4 to 11 years. There are three classes in each year group and a 22 place Special Needs Centre in each school.
