Term-time only - 30.5 hrs per week
The Langley Academy is not just another school; it is a new way of learning, where each and every one of us is encouraged to use our imagination to create new ways to ignite our students’ desire to learn. Our state-of-the-art facilities including our on-site museum and unique ‘Museum Learning’ approach provide the backdrop to our success.
As one of our staff recently said: “We provide experiences to our whole school community, you simply don’t get anywhere else”
We have vacancies for LSAs to join our strong support team here at The Langley Academy. Training will be given and no previous experience is necessary. We are looking for colleagues to start asap.
Our students benefit from a wealth of opportunities to develop, learn and lead. This can be from the classroom, to cultural visits, sports, music and arts. The education and experiences equip our young people with the leadership skills, team spirit, resilience and confidence to become outstanding citizens.
You should have enthusiasm for education and the desire to make a real difference, an excellent command of English, good interpersonal skills as well as energy and commitment.
Within our Trust we believe there is no ceiling to achievement for our children or our teachers. We are focussed on growing our young people into broad minded, critical thinking and confident adults. This role will help shape our teaching practices to enable our school community to achieve this ambition.
One of the many advantages of working at The Langley Academy is our short Fridays so you can start your weekend early, part of our wider approach to supporting heath and wellbeing. In addition, we provide you with the help, support and resources you need to develop, including enhanced additional funding from our sponsor.
If you wish to be considered for the post, all information is available on the school website www.langleyacademy.org
