About the role:
Hartley Primary Academy currently has a fantastic opportunity to appoint two Lunchtime Supervisors who will join us from September 2022. The successful candidates will work with our children from Reception through to Year 6. As the roles are part-time during term time, it is ideal for those of you seeking work opportunities during school hours. We are seeking committed and motivated individuals to be part of our friendly, welcoming team. To be suitable in this role, we are looking for someone with empathy, energy - and enthusiasm!
Responsibilities of the Lunchtime Supervisor Team include;
- Putting out relevant numbers of tables/chairs and cutlery/beakers in time for mealtime.
- Ensure pupils enter the dining room safely and behave appropriately when queueing for their meal, and to ensure pupils have or are provided with a drink and that a sufficient amount of their meal has been eaten.
- To help with spillages, cutting up food and caring for pupils’ personal needs.
- Ensure plates, etc., are cleared from tables, wiped down and to ensure a clean and tidy environment is maintained.
- Assist in collecting pupils from collection point and escort to hall/classroom or patrol and supervise school areas used by the pupils at mealtimes.
- Offer, where applicable, a first aid service, during the mealtime to deal with any accidents that occur safely and quickly.
Please be aware that we have two opportunities available, therefore, please see a breakdown below:
- Five hours per week (one hour per day, five days per week) - actual salary £2,075 pa
- 7.5 hours per week (1.5 hours per day, five days per week) - actual salary £3,113 pa
Both roles are based on Term Time only with a full time equivalent salary of £18,330 pa. Please state on your application your preference of working hours per week.
