Beech Lodge School is a small (80 pupil) thriving independent special school in Berkshire for pupils aged 7-18, who have needs that are difficult to meet in a conventional school setting.

We are looking for an experienced SENDCO who already has SENDCO accreditation.

The post is a full-time, non-teaching and predominantly an admin-based role. You will organise and lead EHCP reviews so will need to be an excellent administrator, be able to multi-task and work to tight deadlines. You will also liaise with the different teams that work across the school, from class teachers, specialist teachers, therapists etc.

Substantial experience and knowledge of teaching students with SEN and advising colleagues, together with an ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines.

Working alongside our Fagus Lead, you will monitor pupil’s social and emotional development and input.

You must be adaptable, creative and resourceful – not daunted by a flexible timetable and put nurture at the heart of everything you do. You will be part of a large and supportive staff team.

Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
