Working pattern: Monday – Friday, 8.15am – 3.45pm, one day per week form 8.15am - 4.45pm with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Nursery Manager to join the team at the Kenyngton Manor Primary School.
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and passionate individual who can bring outstanding childcare skills and innovation to our nursery.
The successful candidate will be leading a busy school-based nursery class and building effective working relationships at every level. You will: be responsible for providing high quality and flexible childcare for families; overseeing the operation of the nursery to the highest standards; ensuring that the best possible education, learning environment and care are provided for young children. Essentially you will have proven line management experience in a similar setting, together with effective communication skills and an excellent understanding of EYFS.
Kenyngton Manor Primary School is a two-form entry with a PAN of 60. We have approximately 400 pupils aged 2-11, this includes the part-time pre-school and nursery provision. There are 200 children in the infants including our reception classes and 170 children in the junior department. The nursery/pre-school provisions offers children and families a stimulating, well-resourced base in which to prepare for school readiness. We have excellent facilities, well equipped classrooms and well maintained outdoor play areas. The average class size is 26 and staff work in year group teams to collaboratively plan and deliver high quality lessons. Teaching assistants are highly skilled and play a critical role is supporting teachers and play a critical role in securing outstanding progress in pupils’ learning.
