Description
We seek to appoint a Performing Arts Technician/Administrator to support the Director of Performing Arts and Music and the Head of Drama, and contribute towards the smooth operation of the Music and PA Department.
This is a full time, permanent position. However, it is also open to applicants looking for a one year fixed term contract, who do not want to commit to a permanent role.
This role would be suitable for;
- a Graduate with a Degree in Stage Management and Technical Theatre (who is willing to learn the recording studio production element).
- a Graduate with a Degree in Sound Engineering and Production (who is willing to learn the theatre technician elements).
- a candidate with relevant experience working in the technical or stage management side of theatre.
The ideal candidate will inspire enthusiasm and confidence in our students, will be an excellent communicator and will be a team player, keen to share ideas with colleagues.
On-site accommodation (self-contained, one-bedroom flat) for the duration of the contract can be offered at a very competitive rent, if required.
