About the role: Longfield Academy has a fantastic opportunity for a committed and motivated Premises Maintenance Operative (Caretaker) to join our collaborative team as soon as possible. Our successful candidate will be joining an experienced Site team and helping to provide effective operation, maintenance, cleaning and security of the Academy’s buildings, grounds and plants. We make a massive difference and enable the students to gain their full potential through providing the best environment possible.
Applicants need to be trustworthy, reliable, hardworking, physically fit, conscientious and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Ideally you will have good DIY skills, some knowledge of Health & Safety, basic IT skills and an understanding of safeguarding. We offer fantastic training opportunities so can provide support if there are any areas that you may need to be up-skilled or trained.
This permanent position offers a salary of £19,799 per annum based on 37 hours per week. Please be aware that interviews may be conducted on a rolling basis, therefore, we strongly encourage early applications.
