Description

We are now looking for a seasoned Receptionist to join our front of house team to provide a welcoming and friendly service to visitors to the school, students, parents and colleagues.

Being part of the administration team, this role plays an instrumental part in the efficient day to day running of our school and is responsible for manning the school’s main reception desk assisting all visitors with their queries in a positive and supportive manner. This is an extremely busy post, which requires the successful candidate to be able to identify visitors needs quickly and deal with queries in an efficient and helpful manner. Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal - are imperative as is the need to be reliable, diplomatic and calm. This post also requires good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and support the administration team, where needed.

The successful applicant will have reception experience or have experience in a customer service role, ideally in a face-to-face capacity. Additionally, we need someone who is energetic and enthusiastic and enjoys working with 11-16-year-olds. You will also share our inclusive values of “opportunity, diversity and success for all” and you will have a willingness to develop your own practice in line with our ethos of continuous improvement.
