Description

‘You have a package of staff training and support with a clear focus on developing and sharing first rate teaching and learning’ (Ofsted)

The Langley Academy is not just another school; it is a new way of learning, where each and every one of us is encouraged to use our imagination to create new ways to ignite our students’ desire to learn. Our state-of-the-art facilities including our on-site museum and unique ‘Museum Learning’ approach provide the backdrop to our success.

As one of our staff recently said: “We provide experiences to our whole school community, you simply don’t get anywhere else”

We are seeking to recruit an inspiring colleague with the skills, knowledge, and experience to contribute to a committed and enthusiastic Academy.

The ideal candidate will be producing, photocopying, and printing material. You will be responsible for the quality of all word-processed work within the resources area and will assist in the duplication, collation and finishing. Your ICT skills must be of a high standard and should include Outlook, Word, Publisher, Excel – any other publishing software will be an advantage

You will need to be well organised, patient, and able to priorities effectively. Your command of the English language (written and oral) must be exemplary.

Within our Trust we believe there is no ceiling to achievement for our children or our teachers. We are focussed on growing our young people into broad minded, critical thinking and confident adults.

One of the many advantages of working at The Langley Academy is our short Fridays so you can start your weekend early, part of our wider approach to supporting health and wellbeing. In addition, we provide you with the help, support, and resources you need to develop, including enhanced additional funding from our sponsor.

If you wish to be considered for the post, all information is available on the school website.

If you would like further information or to arrange a visit to the school, please contact Tara Mackay, PA to the Headteacher and HR Lead.

Closing date: 9.00am, Monday 28 November 2022

All appointments are subject to an enhanced clear DBS check. The trust reserves the right to appoint ahead of the deadline.

The Langley Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

Only registered members can apply for jobs.
