Roedean is an extraordinary school, sitting within the South Downs National Park and overlooking the English Channel. It is not just the location, but our reputation for excellence in pastoral care, our strong academic focus, and our genuine belief in the importance of creativity and an all-round education, that makes Roedean unique.
We are looking to create and build a Roedean Sailing School programme, with a focus on dinghy sailing in the first year.
The Sailing Lead will report to and work with the Director of Sport to develop a practical and deliverable programme that all the girls can engage with, enjoy and make progress in.
The successful candidate will have experience and knowledge of dinghy sailing and racing and working with children/young adults.
We welcome your interest in being part of our journey at a time of continued development, and with the arrival of a new Head from April 2023.
Please download an application pack from our website (www.roedean.co.uk/Vacancies) or contact Louisa Butler via email@example.com
Closing date: 9am, 17 April 2023.
Due to the need to appoint quickly we reserve the right to interview and appoint at any stage of the process.
Roedean is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. An enhanced DBS check is required for all successful applicants.
