Slough and Eton is looking for a great teacher to join our Science department in September 2023. The Science team is led by a trio of Co-Curriculum leaders and we have a great mix of experienced and recently qualified or training staff in the team. Science, including the separate sciences, is a successful and popular subject area at Key Stages 4 and 5 and we have recently expanded the number of A-Level classes on offer.
The subject is taught in a dedicated Science area which has been recently refurbished and benefits from access to the latest Clevertouch interactive technology. The new member of this team needs to be a qualified Science teacher with a love of the subject. If that’s you then you will need to be dedicated to ensuring students of all abilities can succeed and, crucially, a great classroom teacher. Previous experience of examination teaching at either KS4 or 5 is essential although there is no requirement to have taught post-16 previously.
ECTs are encouraged to apply as this is a great team to develop your teaching skills with.
