Whitgift is a leading independent day and boarding school with approximately 1550 pupils and over one hundred boarding pupils and flexi boarding pupils. It set in an attractive 48-acre parkland site in South Croydon with excellent transport links to London, Surrey and the South Coast.
School has an outstanding tradition of sporting success in a variety of sports. We are seeking to secure the services of a self-employed Football Coach to work within the Sports Department. The ideal candidate will have some experience of coaching at a high level and across the age ranges of under 11-18s, experience of working in a school environment and some knowledge of the use of performance analysis software. You will plan and supervise appropriate training programmes and provide the support needed to maximise the physical potential of a wide range of players and abilities to achieve their full potential. The post is available from November 2022 to March 2023 and will include 3 x 4 - hour coaching sessions (minimum) plus match days, with potential coaching work beyond these dates.
