Wellington Lions and Wellington Eagles Primary Academies are looking to recruit a Senior Caretaker. We are looking for a Caretaker who has a positive and proactive approach to work and a commitment to providing excellent customer service to join our friendly team who are helping to create an exceptional place of learning.

The Senior Caretaker is responsible for leading the school caretaker(s) in the day to day, medium and long term maintenance of the wellington Primaries, ensuring that they provide an appropriate safe and secure environment for the education of students and the safe, comfortable and effective work of all the staff, contractors and other visitors.

They will also lead the Primary Academies premises team to ensure the site is a safe and secure environment for all students, staff and visitors, ensuring it is in a good state of repair and appearance, including all buildings, facilities, roads, pathways, grounds and gardens.

Our successful candidate will have previous caretaking experience and be able to use their initiative to work independently, as well as part of the wider premises team, to ensure the upkeep of the site.
