Description

Required for September 2023. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspiring and dedicated teacher of Science to join a dynamic, strong and supportive team. The candidate must be able to teach A-Level Physics.

Our students routinely achieve excellent results. In 2022, 86% of students achieved grade 4+ in Combined Science, 93% in GCSE Biology, 90% in GCSE Chemistry and 93% in GCSE Physics. Biology, Physics and Chemistry are popular at A-Level and many students go on to study Science at university.

Ranelagh is an 11-18 coeducational, Anglican Academy (converter) which is oversubscribed and has an excellent reputation for academic achievement and positive school ethos. The school has had four ‘outstanding’ OFSTED reports, with Grade 1 across all areas, but we are not complacent.

If you have a very good knowledge and understanding of the subject and you are an excellent teacher looking to develop your career in a supportive and progressive environment, we would welcome an application from you. The opportunities for professional growth and development are excellent.

If you are interested in learning more about the position, please contact the Headteacher via the school office, on 01344 421233 or by email. Details of the post are also available on the school website.

Closing date: midday, Tuesday 21 February 2023
