Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-qualified graduate to teach Biology throughout the School. The successful candidate will have a good degree in a relevant discipline and possess excellent subject knowledge. The ability to teach another subject to either KS3 or GCSE would be advantageous. This position will suit an NQT (capable of teaching to A Level and Oxbridge standard with training and support), someone looking for their first move or a more experienced teacher.

The Biology Department at Mayfield is dynamic, stimulating and high achieving. There are three well-equipped Biology laboratories on the ground floor of the Science block. Teaching is supported by a team of experienced and dedicated technicians. Biology is consistently one of the School’s most successful subjects at both GCSE and A Level, regularly achieving outstanding results, and a proven track records of girls going on to study Sciences, medicine and veterinary at Universities around the world.
